One of the south’s future premier producers, GreenKnight plans to be an innovator in more areas of music than Hip Hop. Born in Heilbronn-Neckargartach, Germany, and raised in the dirty south, GreenKnight came up listening to all different types of music. Whether it may have been one of the soulful singers, jazz playing on the radio, or blues. Listening to different artists allowed him to gain the ability to pick out good music and not just put any thing together. He also had first hand encounters with some of the greats in Montgomery: Mello Rich, Alize, Dr. Fangaz, L-Bo Keys, Shotgun, Tito, Khao, and many others. Always listening for the little things that would make a track complete, GreenKnight is on a quest to create a signature sound that only a Knight could personify.
In 2002 GreenKnight purchased a MPC 2000XL and that was the beginning of his journey. Since then he has purchased a plethora of equipment, including turntables and an endless amount of vintage records. On the quest to create a sound that can be heard over all the noise, GreenKnight is working for longevity in the industry. Initially GreenKnight entered into music and currently is a CEO for Black Diamond Enterprises Inc. which has been in operation since 1999.
